I’m an Austrian filmmaker, photographer, speaker, travel-blogger and engineering student.
Currently the majority of my work includes filmmaking on independent documentary projects in other countries and also commercial work as a camera assistant.
During high school I got interested in photography and bought my first camera. Together with my girlfriend Kathi I also developed a passion for travelling and we got to see over 25 countries on five different continents over the last few years. We started writing our German travel blog where we share many of our experiences along the way on: blog.max-kern.at
In 2018 we organized our first travel presentation about a two month long adventure through South America with over 100 visitors. Another successful talk followed where I also premiered my first two short documentaries.
In 2019 I started working as a freelancer focused on photography and in 2021 I started working on film project such as commercials, image videos and a short film.
